Hit A Fade: An Easier Way

hit a fadeAlthough the best way to hit a fade is to use one of the Locked-In Golf™ fade techniques, there is a very easy and simple way in a more conventional manner.

This conventional golf swing instructions do not lock-in a fade alignment during the pre swing proceedings as do the Locked-In Golf™ fade techniques.

However, it probably is more reliable than positioning your stance to the inside of your target line and then manipulating your club during your golf swing to produce a fade golf shot, the method most instructors teach.

Although you most often will want to hit a straight golf ball, there are many instances in a round of golf that requires a fade.

Here is an easy way to hit a fade. It will definitely improve your golf game.

First, assume a comfortable stance and posture to your ball.

Next, align your shoulders parallel with your directional line, an imaginary line on which you want your ball to travel, initially.  You may ask a playing partner or someone at your practice range to observe whether your shoulders are aligned parallel with your directional line.

Then center the sweet spot of your clubface as near as possible to the back of your ball without moving your ball during this process. You must not grip your club before centering the sweet spot of your clubface directly behind your ball. If your ball moves when you center the sweet spot of your clubface directly behind your ball, simply begin the process anew.

Once you have centered the sweet spot of your clubface as near as possible to the back of your ball, then grip your club with either an overlapping, interlocking or baseball (ten fingers) style of grip.

Complete your grip by locking (docking) the lifeline of your right hand squarely and securely on your left thumb if right-handed or by locking (docking) the lifeline of your left hand squarely and securely on your right thumb if left-handed.

You must not unlock the lifeline of your respective hand from your thumb once your grip is completed.

After gripping your club as described above, you must not move any part of your body before beginning your golf swing. This means you must not move your feet, flex your knees in any way, arch, cup or rotate your wrists or raise or lower your arms or shoulders.

You must maintain your spine angle.

If you then keep your feet and heels planted, maintain a steady head (a must) and execute a regular golf swing without manipulating the club off its established swing path your ball should curve slightly to the inside of your directional line and then slightly to the outside of your directional line in a perfect fade configuration, discounting wind conditions and any elevation differences between your feet or, between your stance and your ball.

You may find this an easier way to hit a  fade than by aligning your stance to the inside of your target line and then attempting to manipulate your club during your golf swing.
